Scott Humphries and Tara Jefferies are standing for the Liberal Democrats in for Olney & Rural ward on the Thursday 7 May 2026 elections to MK City Council.
Scott Humphries and has lived in Milton Keynes area his entire life, being brought up in Newport Pagnell in a family with very local roots.
Scott is a Newport Pagnell Town councillor with 4 years of experience helping residents on local issues. He is an active volunteer with many charities and not-for-profit organisations and isn’t afraid to get stuck in where it matters and get his hands dirty.
A vote for Scott is a vote for a community champion. He cares greatly for the local community of all creeds and ages.
Tara Jefferies has lived in Milton Keynes for 13 years. She has served as a Great Linford Parish councillor for 2 years and has championed; armed forces, mental health, and disability.
One of her main passions is creating space and support for children and youth, creating positive change to help guide our young people to obtain better skills and work opportunities.
Having been a youth leader for many years Tara knows that change can be made by just listening and making a safer active environment for the young of our community to thrive.
In her experience of volunteering within many charities, drawing on personal experiences and giving understanding goes a long way.
