Liberal Democrats on Milton Keynes Council

The Liberal Democrats, and the Liberal Party before them have had councillors on Milton Keynes borough council for decades, including being the largest group and running the council as a Lib Dem administration from 2002 to 2011.

After the elections on 2 May 2024 our party now has 18 councillors on Milton Keynes council, representing areas which cover about a third of Milton Keynes. We are now the official opposition on the Council, seeking to continue our practice of representing everyone fairly and safeguarding the most vulnerable in our communities.

If you would like to be part of an important group making sure the council is run well for all residents, get in touch with us!

The wards we currently represent on Milton Keynes Council are:

Bradwell ward
Broughton ward
Campbell Park and Old Woughton ward
Monkston ward
Newport Pagnell South ward
Shenley Brook End ward.

See the Council website for the councillors who currently represent each ward on MK Council.

In May 2026, elections will be held on new boundaries, and our teams are gearing up for the change, so teams on the new boundaries will now help you.  Select the new ward from the menu for details of our current teams.
