As well as the local elections there will be also be elections on 5th May for a Police and Crime Commissioner for the Thames Valley area, to which Milton Keynes belongs. This is only the second time that these elections have been held.
The Lib Dem candidate is John Howson. John Howson knows a thing or two about crime. He is a businessman, academic, a former magistrate, and victim of crime, as well as a former government adviser.
