Plan:MK

Milton Keynes Council is currently working on its strategic plan for the future growth of Milton Keynes called the Plan:MK. It will set out the vision and development strategy for the whole of the borough for the next 15 years or so.

The Council is current consulting on the Strategic Development Directions stage until the 6th April 2016. There are four options being consulted on:

1. Development to the west, south west and/or east of the city.

2. Development east of the M1.

3. One or more satellite settlements in the rural area.

4. Intensification and redevelopment in the urban area.
