Councillor Jane Carr, who represents Newport Pagnell South ward has used a portion of her ward grant to provide new play mats to the local parish church.
St Peter & St Paul’s Church on the High Street in Newport Pagnell offer FREE fun play and stay sessions for children and their families.
The sessions take place every Monday except Bank Holidays from 9.30-11.30am, offering a safe, welcoming space to play and socialise.
Drinks and snacks are included, and no booking is required.
Councillor Carr, said:
“These free play sessions are a fantastic activity for families. Not only do they give children a chance to play and stay active, but they also support parents and carers by offering a space within the community to connect. It’s a great way for families to keep the costs down whilst boosting mental and physical wellbeing.”
The sessions, run by volunteers at St Peter & St Paul’s, continue to welcome families to come together, play, and make new friends.
